wow, i adore the way you've added the blinds, brilliant work! the dust is a little bizarre though, it almost looks like 'pixie' dust or something, having said that, im still going to favourite this, i like it.

o.o I haven't seen the first, but I can say this one looks awesome! I love how she blends into the background, but the highlights from outside the window bring her out of it. :heart: :blackrose:

As for your 'dust' problem, if you don't mind a suggestion or two...I think using a brush with softer edges would help, and--especially if it's on a seperate layer--try playing with the opacity. I think if you were to lower it, so you could kinda see through the dust, it would look less like snow. ^_^

actually i was messing with the dust for a while and couldn't get it to look how I wanted it to... so I pretty much gave up and went with this ^^;
